A man who was born on December 5th, 1901 is one of the most inspirational man in the world! Can you imagine his office like what now? He won 22 academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of theme parks Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Because not everyone can do one thing well. Everyone have their expert skill. Even that in food, mechanical, or fashion. And Walt Disney has it in animation. So What ever you do, do it well. Nobody's can make sure the future so let's fight from now with your special skill.

 Hallo! Meet me again as student of 3 Senior High School Bandung, Indonesia. I would tell you:

On Februari 21^st there is an event. That is Opening of Dewa Athena! What is it? Dewa Athena is (singkatan) from Olimpiade Siswa: Ajang Tunjuk Kebolehan, Kekompakan, dan Eksistensi Siswa or in english is Students Olympic Games for Event Show Permissibility, Compactness, and the existence of Students. The first activity is color run. Before we started the activities, the students were ordered to use white T-shirt which is can be coloured. The activity it is like you run together like in festival but you run around some route. The route was Bali Street - Belitung - Sumatera - Aceh - Saparua - Ambon - Banda - Belitung and went back again to Bali Street.

And when you arrived at the Bali street again especially The Bali field you would greet by water colours. After that we continue with the first game. It is girls football. And then girls dodgeball, and badminton for boy and girl. Well we didn't win in football and dodgeball games but we won in badminton! Thanks to Ghina and Halim who played it.

           But I want to tell you sadly I couldn’t attend the opening. Why because I have to join with my other friends in Debate Competition. Where is it? It is at Padjajaran University Jatinangor. The competition was begin from eight o’clock. Our school was sent two team for this competition. I’m included Team B. The two team was through to next round for the first but fot the second round we gave to fight our team, Team A. Finally we fight with sad and happy and the winner is ... Team A!! The judges also hard to choose but they choose Team A for the winner! And our score just different is 2 points! I’m sad but happy for that decision. So our Team A qualify to big eight!! Because it was a long time the competition for Team A was continue for the next day. And the next day I still came to watch our team. But tragic the first round on that day we were ... lose so we have go home early. But that was awesome! I was happy to be one of participant there. Both of the event was fun but it was in the same time...

On February, 14th 2015 I and my all class mates have to made a advertisement, noticed, or announcement. And I have make one! Like what? This is it

That is a chocolate and a piece of chocolate. And  in that picture  there’s a letter : ‘SAVE OUR BRAIN WITH CHOCOLATE’. Why I choose chocolate? Because many scientist say that chocolate is good for stress solutions. Beside of the delicious tastes, the calories are good for us who if she/he is in depressed haven’t eat the calories will help recovery health immediately. But for us who have surplus with calories don’t eat chocolate too much or you can try low fat chocolate milkshake

So let’s save our brain with happiness from chocolate You will not in the badmood again trust me it works!

Natural Phenomena

My favorite phenomena is the biggest salts flat. It happens on Potosi Departement Oruro, Bolivia , on southeast near on top of Andes mountain at an altitude of 11,995 feet above sea level. this phenomena which is known as "Salar de Uyuni". This scenery is very beautiful. It is a natural large mirror.

The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes.
The name of the prehistoric lake is Michin lake. When it getting dry finally become 2 lakes. That is Danau Poopó dan Uru Uru and two big salt desert Salar de Coipasa dan Salar de Uyuni It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average altitude variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. It contains 50 to 70% of the world's lithium reserves, which is in the process of being extracted. The large area, clear skies, and the exceptional flatness of the surface make the Salar an ideal object for calibrating the altimeters of Earth observation satellites

 It happens when a thin layer of water gather on the land which contains salt. Salar de Uyuni is called "heaven on earth" too. This natural phenomena which amazed me so much happens when a little flood makes people like walk on the sky. Overlay of flat salt measuring 6.500 miles is the biggest in the world. Even bigger than Titicaca lake.

Expanse of salt occurs in different areas such as lakes or ponds where the climate does not evaporate the water faster than the rate of precipitation, the results if the water can not flow will collect large amounts of water.

Although its dry, Salar de Uyuni show special phenomena likes natural wonders which is make it as live desert on mountains with average temperatures around 21C stable in the summer.

Many tourist come to this place for enjoy white expanse of salt and amazing scenery. When we stay with the local resident, the tourist can feel like connected from modern world. You just need around dis Rp.150,000/days, the tourist can spend night with farmer’s family in local residents without water or electricity. Even the bathroom is outside the house.

Even though tourist were already visited this place, around 5 years ago lithium is found just below the surface of the salt. Salar de Uyuni in addition to amazing also contains the highest concentration of lithium batteries are important for computer and phone in the world. Between 50 to 70 percent of the world's supply of precious metals contained in the area. In addition to the mineral wealth, Salar de Uyuni is also home to wildlife stunning pink flamingos.

Special Food

My favorite food is Surabi or Serabi. Serabi is one of the famous Indonesian traditional pancakes. Serabi is cooked with charcoal fire and it is made from flour mixed (flour, rice flour, egg, a little salt), coconut milk and for top side can fill with many various topping as you like. This pancake usually has circle shaped and rounded at the bottom side. The types of Surabi are various. I will tell you some of them. The first is as my favorite is ‘Serabi Kinca’ . it is serving with some Serabi with palm sugar sauce. There are liquid sauce or dense sauce. usually if the sauce is  it is mixed with coconut milk.

                The second is Serabi Durian (in Sundanese called Surabi Duren). The ingredients of the Surabi are like the others but the topping is very special! The topping is cheese and melted durian! When in the season of durian, the melted durian is more delicious and sweet-smelling.

And for you who like spicy there a surabi too for you! That was surabi chili oncom It tastes good and spicy. You can add chili oncom And many more but it’s standard I think but I am not say if the standard types are not delicious right? The toppings are such as chocolate, cheese, sausage, egg, grilled chicken, beef with barbeque and many more.

If you bored I have a new type for you. This Surabi is called ‘Surabi Notosuman’. It is from Solo. Not like other Surabi, this surabi have shape flat circle. And the way to serve is roll it and covered with a circle leaf of banana and paste it with scotch tape. So when you eat it in the shape in rolled very practice right? There is no special topping but the tastes delicious too! The types are original, chocolate, cheese. It recommended! It can be for souvenirs too. Now almost every big cities sell it.  Let’s try it!

My Holiday

This is christmas holiday in 2014. Unfortunately I didn’t go anywhere. So I spent my holiday in Bandung with there was no something  to do. But in this holiday there is a tragedy. The tragedy is Airasia was fall down. 163 passangers become victims. That accident made me felt lucky because I didn’t go anywhere like another city but I stayed in Bandung.

In one bored day, my sister send me a short message. She said how about I fill my holiday with something educate like visiting a museum? So I told my mom about my sister’s idea and she agree to go to the museum. But my sister still in examination so we can go next time after she finshed her exam.

In fact I’m bored to go to Museum Geologi again, but my mom looks happy when we invited her  so we still go to the museum. I didn’t like the first floor of the museum because it about fossil, especially human skull!  It’s scaring! However ,I like the second floor! Yeah it is antique stones and culture in the past. And how diamonds made. it’s beautiful! And I see some historical thing which is called  Moko. It’s for cook rice or gift of wedding.  There is a necklace for king in the past! Very beautiful even it just replica.

This museum already added new collections. The first is collection is from Yogyakarta which is in 2010 when the Merapi mountain got interrupt. That were many things which is melting because ‘wedus gembel’. Example is motorcycle now just like bicycle because the outer skin is melting! Very scaring me. And that was a helmet which is melting until not in shape. But beside them there are many interesting stones. Like marmer, granit, ruby .

The museum also adding other collection. It is about technology in our era such as laptop, digital camera, ipad, ancient blackberry, and many more. Maybe that collections is for our next generation like what our technology now? Very interesting for me

My Dream

Hello my name is Maria Ervina Permatasari Santoso. I'm in 10th grade now. I have many dreams. the first is i want to pass this semester with a good score :) after this semester is school holiday. I wish I can get some vacation later. If I want get vacation my score must be good.
     My next dream is I want to meet my favorite singer. he was Justin Timberlake! and an actor whom I don't know his name. They both so handsome and famous. the actor was played in "my love from the star" it is korean movie
     And maybe someday I want to visit Lourdes, France. To see Holy water which is called "lourdes water". And tomb of Saint Bernadeth. There is a legend about her. I'm very curious with it. After france I want to visit Roma, Italia. In roma city there is a country who was named Vatikan. And I want to meet the paus there.
  Now "stand by me" already on cinema. I wish I can watch it this month. and for older movie i want to watching a thailand movie. that is about comedy and romance. the title is "crazy little thing called love". The  main actor is also handsome! and he look like charismatic. which is in sport or photography. and the actrees is beautiful. The movie very interesting. it success made me sad and happy almost in the same time.
    I am can waiting for "mockingjay part 2" and "insurgent" next year in march and december. I forget that i didn't haave my report of my score yet. I'm still nervous about it. wish me luck!
